How to connect through the SkyTap environment 

1: Click on the assigned skytap.com link provided in your email to access your lab environment.

2: Confirm access to Skytap environment  

Observe there are two ways to connect (blue circles) 

3: Click on one of the following to connect to the computer 

• To access via Browser: Click the computer desktop 
• • Easiest way to get started 
• • This can get through most company firewalls 
• To access via RDP: Click the “RDP” icon in the upper right of the Student computer 
• • Download RDP client for a native RDP experience (download at bottom of browser) 
• • This may be blocked by your company firewall 

Windows Log-in Credentials 

Windows User = “Operator” Password = “operator” 

About Access via Skytap Browser 

There are additional tools to note when accessing the Skytap environment through the browser. 

Key tools at the top include: 

• “Ctrl-Alt-Delete” = press this to LOG IN (sends the keystroke command) 
• “Fit to Window” (circled) = changes the screen to fit in your browser 

About Access via RDP Client 

Experience matches that of a normal Remote Desktop Connection. 

Additional features available in upper-left corner of the window >>> 

Click the screen to reveal the log-in screen. 

Zoom Breakout Rooms

We will be utilizing Zoom breakout rooms during the class.  If you have questions during your labs, simply jump into breakout Rooms 1, 2, or 3 for assistance.
